Exploring the essence of soulfulpreneurship

About creating social impact, growing as a human being and doing what you love.

People are stuck. They don't follow their own path, have too much stress, too little time, and are distracted too often.

Look around. The smartest people are often not working on the biggest problems in our society. They believe that climbing the corporate ladder will bring them freedom and fulfillment. But in the end it won't. All it does is burn them out and locks them into a 40-80 hour work week.

They earn a decent salary, but feel like robots at the end of the day. No time or mental energy left to spend their money on the things that bring them pleasure. They work only to maximize shareholder value. Value of shares they will probable never even get a chance of acquiring.

Societal pressures make it difficult for most people to find fulfillment. In their efforts to self-improve, many end up overcompensating and not focusing on the right steps. This only leads to more stress and anxiety.

All this leads to overconsumption and mindless scrolling on the internet. Due to all the distractions, people don't even notice their decline until it's too late. They choose the convenient, quick-dopamine option because it makes them feel good. What they don't realize is that these choices are what make them feel miserable in the long run.

Is this the life we want? I don't.

Starting a business or project can give you the power to do what is important in life, to you and the people around you. Living the lifestyle you desire, while moving forward as a society.

In my writing, I will explore the concept I call 'soulfulpreneurship'. Soulfulpreneurs are people who create a social impact, grow through entrepreneurship, and do what they love.

Why? Because this is exactly the journey that I am going through now, and have been going through the past years. As a purpose-driven start-up founder, I know the struggles that it can bring. That being said, I also experience the benefits and the possibilities that are out there.

And not only that, because there is so much more to life than work. I love hanging out with family and friends, doing calesthenics or playing football, going to parties and festivals, walking in nature and having the energy and clarity to fit this all in my schedule.

The ultimate goal is to create value for both yourself and society, grow as a person, and enjoy each day to the fullest.

If you feel that this resonates with you, follow me on my exploration to the essence of soulfulpreneurship.
